The Republic of Korea’s President Park Geun-hye visited the U.S. accompanied by 66 business leaders from Korean companies, highlighting the importance of U.S.-ROK economic ties.

On Friday, U.S. President Barack Obama hosted Park for a tete-a-tete talk at the White House. Discussions focused on trade and other geopolitical/ economic issues. The Republic of Korea is not included in the Trans Pacific Partnership, but Park is expected to push for inclusion in later stages of the agreement.
