The third and final debate of the U.S. presidential elections was another heated war of words. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton battled on immigration, foreign policy and gun control. But it was Mr. Trump who landed the biggest blow of the night.

CCTV America’s Nathan King reports the story.

Even though there was no handshake, for the first third of the debate, it was mostly civil exchange on domestic issues like gun control, abortion rights and immigration.

But when it came to foreign policy, two candidates trade sharp exchanges, after Clinton said that if elected, Trump would be too sympathetic to Russia

The two candidates sparred over the Middle East particularly Iran, Iraq and Syria, and Trump accused Clinton of failure during her tenure as U.S. Secretary of State

The insults flew – Trump called Clinton a quote “nasty woman” once again Clinton raised Trumps treatment of women, minorities, and the disabled.

But the most unprecedented moment came when Trump said he may not accept the result of the election on November 8th, something unheard of in modern US politics

“I’ll look at it at the time,” said Donald Trump, the Republican candidate.

Donald Trump says he may not respect election outcome

U.S. Republican Presidential Nominee Donald Trump used the final debate with his rival to say he may not respect the result of the election next month. In this unprecedented move, Trump told tens of millions of viewers that he thought the election with Hillary Clinton might be rigged.

CCTV America’s Nathan King reports from Las Vegas.

Of all the things that Donald Trump the Republican Party nominee for U.S. president said on the debate stage it was this exchange that has created the most controversy.

Over recent weeks, Trump has suggested the presidential election may be rigged against him- pointing to unsubstantiated allegations of voter fraud and media bias.

His opponent Democrat Hillary Clinton said such talk is dangerous.
