Donald Trump accused his rival Hillary Clinton of being a liar and a 'nasty woman.' The rising rhetoric of the campaign has shocked many across Europe according to the latest research by opinion pollsters. CCTV's Richard Bestic reports the story.

In Britain, politics is a hardball game. But across the continent there’s the vitriol of the U.S. Presidential race is leaving some Europeans open mouthed in astonishment.

Pollster Ipsos Mori has been monitoring 23 countries in Europe and report a continent aghast.

The findings from the pollsters then seem to suggest that the Europeans regard Trump as a disruptive figure, likely to fall at the final hurdle to Hillary Clinton.

So sure are the Europeans that Hillary Clinton is onto a winner, one of the continent’s biggest bookmakers, Paddy Power is already paying out – at a cost of one and a half million dollars. The pollsters said if their study of Europe is reflected in the U.S., Clinton will be a winner.
