Neighborhood without windows defines Syria

More than 20 people died in air strike over the weekend in the northwestern city of Idlib, Syria.

Idlib province has seen a heavy bombardment in recent weeks. Air strikes last month killed at least 23 people there.

There are still millions Syrians living in the country. In some cases, they’re living in neighborhoods where house after house and business after business are standing without any windows.

CCTV’s Alaa Ebrahim reports on what life is like in Syria.

Throughout the war, Syria has suffered almost every human crisis imaginable from food shortages to bombings.

But it’s the seemingly simple things, like replacing a broken window, that become so much more complicated in the middle of war.
