A new app offers damage control by encouraging parents to leave the office, spend quality time with kids and put down devices.

Tailored to family preferences, the app, O’Daddy, suggests activity options and tallies points for time spent away from phones and computers.

New app reminds families to put down the phone, spend time together

Tailored to family preferences, the app suggests activity options and tallies points for time spent away from phones and computers.

The makes saw users get points for all kinds of things like spending time with their kids. Points will eventually be redeemable among leading retailers — including in the U.S.

Currently in the pilot phase, app creators have said that more than a dozen international corporations are encouraging employees to download O’Daddy citing improved effectiveness via increased family quality time.
