Big challenges ahead for China's no-smoking programs

Tuesday marks World No Tobacco Day, a day to draw attention to the use of cigarettes and the negative health effects they cause.

China has the largest number of smokers in the world, and Beijing is pushing its national no-smoking programs more than ever.

CCTV’s Ning Hong reports.

In China, more people have started asking their doctors about quitting smoking, but smoking related diseases are also on the rise.

More Chinese are getting sick from secondhand smoke. Chinese cities that don’t have laws to ban smoking in public areas have made setting up no-smoking zones a priority.
