The Pakistani Prime Minister said on Sunday that drone attacks on its territory were a violation of its sovereignty.
Nawaz Sharif was commenting on the killing of Mullah Akhtar Mansour the top Taliban Commander, killed when a U.S. drone fired on his vehicle in the southwestern Pakistan province of Baluchistan.
There were conflicting accounts whether the airstrike occurred Friday or Saturday.

In comments to reporters in London on Sunday Sharif said his death had not yet been confirmed.
Mansour, believed to be in his 50’s, had emerged as the successor to Taliban founder Mullah Mohammad Omar, whose 2013 death was only revealed last summer.
