Billionaire businessman Donald Trump won big in the Indiana primary Tuesday, but it was what happened next that will make him the Republican presidential candidate. His last two challengers suspended their campaigns.

With the Republican Party leaders now calling on Republicans to unite behind Trump, reaction from around the world is rolling in.

On the campaign trail, Trump rails against the U.S. trade deficit with China, even threatening to hike tariffs on Chinese goods.

“What needs to be pointed out is that the essence of the Sino-U.S. trade and business cooperation is mutually beneficial and win-win, and accords with the interests of both sides. We hope people in all fields in the U.S. can rationally and objectively view this relationship,” Hong Lei, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman responded.

And across the pond, British Prime Minister David Cameron is refusing to withdraw remarks that Trump’s proposal to temporarily ban Muslims from coming to the U.S. is “divisive, stupid and wrong.”

But in Russia, Trump is getting praise from the Kremlin. President Vladimir Putin called him quote: “very talented.”

Meantime, Trump’s democratic opponent has not yet won the nomination. Secretary Hillary Clinton lost to Senator Bernie Sanders in Indiana’s primary, and Sanders is vowing to campaign until the end.

Trump, for his part, has now moved on to discussing his pick for Vice President. He says he’s willing to consider former opponent, John Kasich.

So far, Trump has shied away from someone with a military background, saying he can handle that. He says he wants someone with political experience.

Trump has no experience in either the U.S. military or in American politics.
