Obama visits Flint for first time since the contaminated water crisis

U.S. President Barack Obama will meet with state and federal officials and hear from the residents affected by tainted water.

The crisis began two years ago when the city switched its supply to the Flint River to save money. The river water wasn’t treated properly and lead from old pipes got into the water supply, poisoning many residents, including children.

U.S. President Barack Obama is in the city of Flint, Michigan. It’s his first visit there since the contaminated water crisis began two years ago.

    Yikes. Give some brown water. Give some direct from flint water department before its highly filtered through those extra filters the home own has to use. Give him water for 2 years of what the people of flint had for that time to drink. Cook and bathe in. And charge him $300 a month for it on a 500 a week salary
