The World Bank has praised the African country Tanzania’s fiscal growth, calling it one of the continent’s bright spots.

The country’s President, John Magufuli, attracted headlines after cracking down on corruption and inefficiency, and he he hopes more investment will soon follow.

The World Bank has praised President Magufuli’s anti-corruption crusade. Now, the nation is looking towards the future. There are plans for a new port and a bid for a cross-country oil pipeline, among other projects.
