The was no thawing of relations between NATO and Russia. At their first meeting in nearly two years, Russia and NATO countries did not resolve their differences, despite the meeting running more than 90 minutes over schedule.

The was no thawing of relations between NATO and Russia. At their first meeting in nearly two years, Russia and NATO countries did not resolve their differences, despite the meeting running more than 90 minutes over schedule. CCTV's Kevin Ozbek reports from Brussels.

As a response for the last two years, NATO has increased military drills near Russia’s border and has severed full relations with Moscow.

Foreign policy experts said the fact that discussions happened after two years of silence is a positive development.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said he hopes to have another meeting with the Russians sooner rather than later. But so far no date has been set yet for the next NATO-Russia Council.
