It was the end of an era in Los Angles Wednesday night as basketball star Kobe Bryant played his last game in the NBA and what a game it was.

As CCTV America’s May Lee reports, fans from around the world came out to say farewell and feel the thrill of Kobe’s magic on the court one last time.

They came wearing 24 to say thank you and goodbye to a legend.

It’s no surprise that tickets to this final game were through the roof. The most expensive tickets were two court-side seats for $27,500 each. But paying a premium to witness Kobe one last time was worth its weight in gold.

60 points: that’s the most scored by a player in a final regular season game. Couldn’t have asked for a better storybook ending to a 20-year career.
