A toddler fell from the back of a car on Feb. 27 in East China’s Suzhou province, but was unhurt. The whole thing was captured on a dashcam.

In shocking footage, the toddler is seen falling from a car and running after it.

Meanwhile, a second car traveling behind it captured it on its dashboard camera. The couple inside the second car was able to rescue the child from traffic and return the boy to his grandfather, the People’s Daily reported.

The grandfather said he was taking his grandson on an errand and the child climbed into the backseat and fell out the hatchback. He said that the car was recently rear-ended and he had taken it to get fixed, but he indicated that the lock was not properly repaired.

He thanked the couple for saving his grandson.
