A protest wailed inside parliament in South Africa, as President Jacob Zuma delivered his state of the nation address. Zuma was attempting to lay out his ideas for reviving South Africa’s economy, but was cut short barely a minute into the speech.

President Jacob Zuma faced loud protests and insults from opposition member’s of parliament, and the interruptions carried on for about an hour.

There has been mounting criticism in recent months, and the opposition was determined to make their point before a global audience.
