On the second day of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to Egypt, he outlined Beijing’s policy in the Arab world during a speech in front of the Arab League.

Geoffrey Aronson spoke to CCTV America about the Chinese president’s busy agenda, and the China-Egypt priorities that are being put in place.

Foreign Policy researcher Michael O’Hanlon on significance of Xi Jinping’s Middle East trip

Stronger ties are being formed between China and Middle East nations. Michael O’Hanlon spoke to CCTV America about the significance of Xi’s visit to speak to Arab League country representatives in Egypt.

O’Hanlon is the Co-Director of the Center for 21st Century Security and Intelligence, and also Director of Research in Foreign Policy at the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C.
