There is outrage after multiple attacks killed dozens in multiple locations in Paris as people there enjoyed their Friday evening in the busy city center.
A hostage situation was ongoing after the initial shootings and explosions, but police have reported that two terrorists were neutralized in the Bataclan concert hall where the hostage scene was carried out. The hostage situation is now reportedly resolved. Latest reports say that five terrorists in total have been neutralized in relation to the attacks.

U.S. President Obama released a statement tonight saying:
“Once again, we’ve seen an outrageous attempt to terrorize innocent civilians. This is an attack not just on Paris, it’s an attack not just on the people of France, but this is an attack on all of humanity and the universal values that we share. We stand prepared and ready to provide whatever assistance that the government and the people of France need to respond. France is our oldest ally.”

The French president Francois Hollande made multiple statements tonight saying that he has declared a state of emergency and is closing the borders around the whole country, not just Paris, according to translated reports. Hollande said the French military is being deployed around Paris after these, as he calls them, “unprecedented” attacks.
