Exponential growth expected in China’s e-health market

Digital health services from electronic patient records to remote healthcare are widely used in developed countries. But in China, these services have taken longer to implement.

But the sheer size and scale of the China market leaves huge potential for growth.

A recent report from the Boston Consulting Group said China’s digital health care sector generated 20 billion RMB ($2.9 billion) in 2014. That number is expected to grow to about $100 billion by 2020, mostly from service sectors.
