China's tourism has maintained good momentum in both investment and tourist consumption. But industry insiders are expecting more as the State Council has issued a series of measures to boost the tourism industry. CCTV's Hu Yinan filed this report.

  • According to China’s National Tourism Administration, investment in the tourism industry reached 302 billion yuan in the first half of 2015, up 28 percent from the same period last year.
  • The number of domestic tourists maintained almost double-digit growth, at 2 billion, in the first six months. Tourism consumption increased 14.5 percent from last year, hitting 1.65 trillion yuan.
