World Today

The top developers of video games unveil their newest gadgets and upcoming products in Los Angeles. The Electronic Entertainment Expo, E3, is an exclusive, industry-only trade fair that is closed to the general public. CCTV America’s Sanyee Yuan gives a glimpse of this year’s E-3 from Hollywood.

Highlight:

  • With over 720 thousand square feet of exhibitions there was a lot to see and do at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
  • As two popular games involved lighthearted activities, Farming Simulator takes gamers into the challenging, novel world of a modern-day farmer while Persona 4 Dancing All Night tests one’s skills and most importantly, rhythm, on the dance floor.
  • Next to some of the biggest names in gaming was the first-timer Beijing Game Pavilion. Gathering 13 e-game companies from Beijing, the pavilion gave a platform for their representatives and game developers to announce their new products, technologies, and distribution networks at E3.
