Stem cell storage provides ‘back-up’ for immune system

Global Business

A clinic in Florida extracts and stores stem cells as a back-up for a patient’s immune system.

Stem cell collection has become a new trend in wellness and age management, for those that can afford it.

Doctors advise the best age to get stem cells extracted is between 17 and 30, although it still can be done later in life if the person is healthy. The process takes from four to six hours. The stem cells are separated, then frozen and stored.
