Ebola outbreak worsens in West Africa

The deadliest Ebola outbreak on record continues to get worse.

Sierra Leone’s health minister confirms that the doctor in charge of battling the current Ebola outbreak has himself become ill with the deadly disease.

Close to a thousand cases of the virus have now been reported in West Africa with over 600 deaths. One laboratory in the U.S. state of Colorado has developed a diagnostic test for Ebola and has received a federal grant to help fight the disease.
